- Description
- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropolitan Area for the Census Advisory Committee on Race and Ethnic Populations Meeting on October 28-30, 2009. Lodging is required for Forty-Five (45) participants as follows: 45 sleeping rooms on Tuesday, October 27, 2009; 45 sleeping rooms on Wednesday, October 28, 2009; 45 sleeping rooms on Thursday, October 29, 2009; and 5 sleeping rooms on Friday, October 30, 2009. Most participants will arrive on Tuesday, October 27, and depart on Friday, October 30. The accommodations must have the following: Metro Accessibility and Full Service Restaurant. The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging rate must be equal to or less than Government per diem rate. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal, hotel contract, and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov or fax to 301-763-4149. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order. Closing date for receipt of proposals is December 29, 2008.
