Request for Quotation The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), located in Bethesda, MD on the National Naval Medical Campus has a requirement for the purchase of 2 concurrent user site license to the following resources listed below. USU intends to negotiate purchase orders with the base period of twelve (12) months and up to four one year options. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested. This is a request for quotations (RFQ) in accordance with FAR Part 13-Simplified Acquisition Procedures. It is the responsibility of the contractor to monitor FedBizOpps for any amendments to the solicitation. This RFQ incorporates all provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisitions Circular 05-29. This procurement is set aside for small businesses only. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by USUHS. For this procurement, the applicable NAICS code is 511120 ( Publishing Industries ) with a size standard of 500 employees. The vendor is to provide electronic access to the requested medical and academic subscriptions with full-text availability over the internet in sections at a time. At minimum, users must be able to view an article in its entirety. Access to these subscriptions is required by faculty, students and researchers. The resultant award will provide access to the requested publications to USUHS and the Department of State Medical Services with a 2 concurrent user access to electronic books and databases. The contractor shall provide pricing for the following resources. Please use the attached spreadsheet to provide pricing on each line item for one base year and four option years.
