- Description
- TO ALL BIDDERS Amendment No. 1 to RFQ RC141963 is issued to answer several technical questions. The questions are found below, with the answers in blue. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1- Does the unit need to be explosion proof and if so what DIV, CLASS and GROUP? No 2- What capacity do you need on the solvent carboy (gallons)? Enough capacity to hold one entire dump of the ultrasonic tank 3- Do you want the quick dump to drain to the carboy as well as the ultrasonic? The ultrasonic is the only basin that needs to drain into the carboy 4- Do you need a closure panel for the 19 x 19 cut-out panel (i.e. sliding door, removable panel or open)? The cut-out panel should be just an overlapping piece of stainless steel sheet that screws onto the unit. We will be putting in a round cut-out in the panel at a later date to fit a deposition system, which is why we need the panel to be removable. Wet Process Station # 2 PFH6C 1- What capacity do you need on the acid carboy (gallons)? Enough capacity to take one entire drain of one etch-tank and one QDR drain. (two tanks-worth) 2- What temperatures do you need for the two etch baths? The etch baths do not need temperature control. They will operate at roughly ambient temperature 3- Do you want the baths to be a common drain to the carboy only? The baths should have a manual diverter valve to drain to the building system for occasional cleaning purposes. 4- Do you want the quick dump to drain to the carboy as well as the two etch baths? Yes. The QDR should also have a diverter valve to drain to the building system as well. Wet Process Station # 3 PFH6C 1- is the sedimentation tank to be used fas a neutralizing the drain from the sink? It is not for neutralization of chemistry - it is so that we can dump wastewater from a dicing saw or silicon cutting operation down that sink, or to rinse off silicon samples that have been cut and have silicon particulates still attached. The sedimentation tank is only to allow these silicon pieces to settle. Except as hereby modified, all other terms and conditions remain the same. Bid closing date remains 12/12/2008.
