- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, John D. Dingell Medical Center intends to issue a solicitation requesting bids to provide all labor, tools, materials, equipment, and supervision to provide and install one Stanley DG2000BP Automatic Bi-Part Sliding Door Package with clear anodized finish in accordance with solicitation specifications. Work shall include removal of existing sliding door and all prep work and materials to install a Stanley DG2000BP Automatic Bi-Part Sliding Door Package. A complete Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation document that will be available on Fedbizopps on or about December 29, 2008. Interested parties are encouraged to attend a site visit on Tuesday, January 6, 2009 EST at 8:30 am at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan, 48201. Contractors shall meet in the Engineering Conference Room LL638. Contractors shall contact the Contracting Officer to indicate their interest in attending the walk through. Requests, in the form of an e-mail message to patricia.fox2@va.gov, must be received by the Contracting Officer no later than Monday, January 5, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. Solicitation responses will be due in the Contracting Office no later than Monday, February 3, 2009 at 2:00 pm EST. The bid opening will be held at the VISN Logistics Office, located at 24 Frank Lloyd Wright Drive, Lobby M, Suite 2200, Ann Arbor, MI 48105. This procurement is 100% set aside for service-disabled, veteran-owned, small business (SDVOSB). The NAICS code is 236220. The SDVOSB size standard for this procurement is $31 million dollars in average gross annual receipts for the preceding three years.
