- This is a synopsis/pre-solicitation notice for non-commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 5.207, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD), Philadelphia has established a requirement for the production, testing, and delivery of Solid Waste (SW) Processing equipment for naval ships. Procurement of Solid Waste Processing Equipment (Large Pulper, Small Pulper, Metal and Glass Shredder, and/or Plastic Waste Shredder ). NSWCCD Philadelphia seeks to competitively award this order. The resultant basic award will be a Large Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) Contract based upon a thirty-six (36) month period of performance. The contract will be awarded unrestricted on a Low Cost Technically Acceptable basis, using policies and procedures in accordance with FAR Part 15. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 562213 with a size standard of $12.5M. This announcement does not constitute a solicitation. Specific details will be provided in the solicitation RFQ N61339-09-R-0001, which will be posted on the World Wide Web at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ (click on Vendors) on or after 9 January 2009.
