Description

Defense Contracting Services Office, Philadelphia, PA intends to solicit and award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order to SirsiDynix for the Annual Unicorn Software Maintenance. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement. The requirement consists of the annual maintenance of the Unicorn Software, and its associated components for the period of one base year plus four option years. The software is proprietary to SirsiDynix. The applicable NAICS code is 511210 Software Publishers. Any interested party, other than SirsiDynix, that feels they can satisfy this requirement must identify their interest, experience, and capability to satisfy the requirement no later than Monday December 15, 2008.
