- The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Harry S. Truman Project, intends to issue a solicitation for Facilities Cleanup Services for Talley Bend Public Use Area. The Contractor shall provide all manpower, equipment, and supplies, necessary to perform cleaning services, including litter pickup for Talley Bend Public Use Area. This is a one year contract. The contractor will not live in the park. The period of performance is 15 April 2009, or date of award if later, through 30 September 2009. Services are required seven days per week. This solicitation will be issues as a Best Value, Request for Quote (RFQ) which will result in the award of a single firm fixed price (FFP) service contract. The solicitation will be available on or about December 19, 2008 and quotes will be due approximately January 14, 2009. The solicitation, including any amendments, shall establish the official opening and closing dates and times. NAICS code: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this project is 561720. SBA size standard is $17.5. THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE SMALL BUSINESS SET ASIDE.
