- The US Army Contracting Command, Joint Munitions & Lethality (JM&L) ContractingCenter and the Project Manager, Combat Ammunition Systems will be hosting anIndustry Day at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, to provide information on ourplanned acquisition of artillery and mortar components over the next ten years(see list shown below). The draft Request For Proposal (RFP) W15QKN-09-R-0364is available at the following internet address: http://procnet.pica.army.mil.The Industry Day will be held in the Lindner Conference Center, Bldg. 1, at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey, on December 19, 2008. Please note that this effort is set-aside for small business participation.Attendance of all interested small businesses is strongly encouraged. Only two US representatives from each firm will be permitted to attend IndustryDay. Firms interested in sending representatives to attend Industry Day mustregister by sending their completed registration form (see attached) to Mrs.Magda Szymanski at magda.m.szymanski@us.army.mil. Although this is anunclassified session, all names of representatives will be submitted to security prior to Industry Day. Please be aware that all visitors, including those escorted by Picatinny or Contractor personnel must go directly to the guard shanty and show a validphoto ID, i.e. Drivers License, etc. The guard will have an alphabeticallisting of all attendees. All vehicles entering Picatinny will be searched for any weapons, ammunition, drugs, alcoholic beverages, photographicequipment, and recording devices. These items will be confiscated andviolators cited by the Picatinny Police. It is requested that all participants review the draft RFP prior to IndustryDay, and submit any specific questions and/or comments regarding the draft RFPvia email to the point of contact mentioned above. There will be time allowedon Industry Day for any additional questions and/or comments that may arise.
