- Description
- This is a synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.603 and Subpart 13.5 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This solicitation is issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. Contracts will be awarded to the lowest price and technically acceptable compliant vendor. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this solicitation is 337214 with a size standard of 500 employees. The solicitation will be posted to FedBizOpps website, www.fbo.gov on or about 15 December 2008. The Site Visit will be conducted on 16 December 2008 between 9am-11am. The date and time for receipt of quotes will be on or about 22 December 2008, 12:00 pm local time. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps web site for amendments to the solicitation. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Priced Contract in accordance with the solicitation procedures outlined in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items/Services. The government currently has Herman Miller Action Office Systems products. The government prefers office products that are comparable to and interchangeable with Herman Miller Action Office Systems in order to enable interchangeability in the future. The Government will not accept re-manufactured or repaired equipment.
