- This Sources Sought/Market Survey is seeking interested businesses for competitive consideration. The 55th Contracting Squadron, Offutt AFB NE is seeking cabability packages to determing the sizes and typs of businesses available for a firm fixed-price contract for intrusion detection equipment (IDE) maintenance annually. The work involves quarterly preventative maintenance for over 375,000 individual pieces of IDE, routine repair services, total system inspections, training of Government personnel on various system features such as alarm/video monitoring, applicable resets, etc, and 24/7 emergency response services for Offutt AFB and its tenants. The current intrusion detection system is majority owned by ADT Security Services, Inc. Applicable NAICS code is 561621 with a size standard of $12.5M. All interested firms should provide capability packages to this notice to include at a minimum: (1) Identification of company size and socioeconomc status; (2) Certifications, technical capability, and proof of relevant experience; (3) Percentage of work prime contract will perform for this effort and percentage of subcontracted work; (4) Maintenance pricing for equipment (per piece-see sample list); (5) Replacement cost to replace existing equipment and maintenance cost for replaced equipment (per piece). NOTE: This is not a request to be placed on a solicitation mailing list nor is it a Request fo Proposal or soliciation announcement. Responses are required no later than 26 December 2008. Address capability packages to: 55 CONS/LGCA, 101 Washington Sq, Offutt AFB, NE 68113-2107, Attn: Sam McGuffey, Contract Specialist. Interested firms shall provide the above documentation with one original and one copy. Responses shall be limited to ten (10) pages. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this survey nor the return of data provided. The results of this Sources Sought/Market Survey will be considered to be in effect for a period of one year from date of this notice.
