- Description
- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command, Fort Bragg intends to issue a solicitation for contractor aircraft (DOD certified carrier) to be utilized for training jumps of the United States Army Parachute Team (USAPT). Training will take place at 16701 Airport Road, Maxton. The Contractor shall provide support to the USAPT drop zone in Laurinburg/Maxton Airport and ferry time to and from the drop zone should not exceed 45 minutes. Ferry time will be charged in TAC hours, but will be included in the price per TAC Hour. TAC Hours will also be used for 3,500 to 12,500. When Contractor aircraft is used, the Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, maintenance, supervision and other items and services necessary to provide Parachute Training Jumps for the USAPT, Fort Bragg, North Carolina as defined in the contract. CFR 91 and 135 requirements are DOD directives that regulate parachute jump operations using commercial aircraft that are a DOD certified carrier. The period of performance of any contract resulting from this solicitation utilizing contract aircraft shall be twelve (12) months beginning 1 January 2009. The contract type will be a firm fixed price contract. NAICS code is 481211 and size standard is 1,5000. Once the solicitation is posted, it is the responsibility of the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. Offerors received in response to the solicitation will be evaluated in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by this agency.
