- Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport is contemplating award of a sole source purchase order to Lockheed Martin Corporation of Syracuse, NY under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. The procurement will be firm-fixed price to provide parts and management to support the maintenance of the Wide Aperture Array (WAA) outboard panels. The parts will consist of WAA panels, transition pieces, mounting hardware, baffle boxes, and associated parts. The requirement will include CLIN 0001: basic award which will be for the USS Seawolf (SSN 21), CLIN 0002: optional requirement for the USS Connecticut (SSN 22), CLIN 0003: optional requirement for the USS Jimmy Carter (SSN 23), and CLIN 0004: optional requirement for the USS Cheyenne (SSN 773). Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. Reference solicitation number N00253-08-R-0003. This notice of intent is ! not a request for competitive proposals. Responses to this notice must be received by 10:00 a.m. pacific standard time on 27 December 2008. Responses shall be submitted via e-mail to michael.yourkoski@navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
