- The U. S. Department is seeking qualified Construction firms for the Kittrell Job Corps Center located in Kittrell, North Carolina. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT for planning purposes only. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT EXISTS. Market research is being conducted to identify all sources that are available to provide the services required under this proposed project. The work will require construction services for improvements to the wastewater treatment plant at the Kittrell Job Corps Center. The construction will involve implementation of several systems, including a new clarifier, improved piping configurations and pumps, an ultraviolent disinfection system, a sand filter and miscellaneous electrical improvements. The composite improvements to the plant will allow the treated effluent to satisfy the State regulatory agency (DENR) requirements. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 237110. Estimated cost range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. In accordance with Clause 6.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations this sources sought is unrestricted.
