- The Federal Aviation Administration is soliciting competitive offers for the supply and delivery of diesel fuel and petroleum products to be delivered to the FAA at facilities located in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. Deliveries are required "on call" between date of award and December 15, 2009, according to terms within the Request for Quote. DOT/FAA anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. Response to the Request for Quote (RFQ) is required by 8:00 a.m., Alaska Time, December 18, 2008. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments are available on-line at http://faaco.faa.gov/index.cfm., or via written request to the Contracting Officer. All interested sources should first attempt to download the RFQ from the internet. If downloading is not possible, all requests for a copy of the RFQ should be submitted in writing either via facsimile (907-271-2326), or via e-mail to: Nichole.CTR.Cruthirds@faa.gov. No phone requests will be accepted. The FAA is not responsible for electronic or fax failure. This notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: DOT, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (SADBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
