This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service utilizing FAR 13.5 prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. This requirement is being issued as a Request for Quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This action is restricted to small businesses. The NAICS code for this action is 423850 with a size standard of $ 14.0 million. This solicitation contains (1) CLIN. The intent of the government is to award a Firm Fixed Price type contract. The Regional Contracting Office, Parris Island, SC has a requirement for the following item: CLIN 0001: (5) persons to launder! clothing items aboard Parris Island Marine Corps Depot for a period of performance starting 10 Jan 2009 through 10 July 2009. See attached statement of work. Note: The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be the best value to the Government.
