- DESCRIPTION: Fuel Boost, Pump INPUT NSN: 2915-01-120-8717 INPUT P/N: 3033T33G02 OUTPUT NSN: 2915-01-120-8717 OUTPUT P/N: 3033T33G02 The proposed contractual action will be a One (1) time, Firm Fixed Price, maintenance and overhaul contract, with a quantity of 250. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment and materials for the maintenance, overhaul, and upgrade of the items. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c) (1) FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy this agencys requirement. Depot Maintenance Work Requirement (DMWR) 55-2915-341 is adequate and available to support the overhaul of the subject item. However, this item has been identified as a Critical Safety Item (CSI) and as such requires overhaul from the approved source only. The only approved source for this requirement is General Electric Company (CAGE 99207) Lynn, MA. Only General Electric Co. has the capability and the required test equipment to perform this effort. Any competing contractor could not be familiar with the total design parameters, specific parts requirements and test processes etc., for the Fuel Boost, Pump. This item has not been published in (CASL) because it was an unprogrammed requirement not reflected in the quarterly budget stratification. The Directorate for Material Management will include the item in the next revision of the CASL. Submit request(s) for source approval to: Commander, U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-MMC-AV-S, Building 5309, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898-5280. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. No telephone requests for solicitation will be accepted. Requests for solicitation will be data faxed or by mail ONLY. This requirement will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15, Contracting by Negotiations.
