- The USCG Engineering Logistics Center has a requirement for the following item: 0001 - NSN 4320-99-771-4207 Pump, Rotary, Type Gear; Capacity 2.8 GPM @ 1500 RPM; Max Speed 3500 RPM; Rotation CW;Total Dinamic Head 6900 FT; suction 2.8 in HG. End Use: Support of steering system onboard the 110 foot WPB cutters, Ultra Hydraulics Ltd. Part Number 1P3028CTDFB Quantity: 45 Each NOTE: Each item to be individually packaged in accordance with ASTM-D3951, Commercial Packaging, Shipping and Storage Procedures. FOB Destination delivery to Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room - Bldg 88, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Delivery of supplies is desired by 3/11/09 or sooner. NO DRAWINGS OR SPECIFICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE FROM THIS AGENCY. It is anticipated that a non-competitive sole source purchase order will be issued for this item to Ultra Hydraulics Ltd., United Kingdom, or an authorized distributor of Ultra Hydraulics Ltd. It is the Government's belief that only Ultra Hydraulics Ltd and/or their authorized dealers/distributors/repair facilities can furnish the required part and ensure the proper fit, form and function of all its components. Concerns having the expertise and required capabilities to furnish the above item are invited to submit complete information discussing the same in duplicate. However, other potential sources desiring to furnish other than Ultra Hydraulics Ltd, parts are required to submit the following: 1) Complete and current engineering data to demonstrate the acceptability of the offered parts (i.e. salient physical, functional and serviceability characteristics) or 2) Data that the offered parts have been satisfactorily manufactured for the Government or the original equipment manufacturer. This data must include sufficient information to allow the Coast Guard to evaluate the proposal relative to the above requirements. Concerns that respond to this notice must fully demonstrate the capability to accomplish the above and are to supply pertinent information in sufficient detail to demonstrate a bona fide capability to meet the requirements. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in supart 12.6 of the FAR, and as suppplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotation (RFQ) umber HSCG40-09-Q-50214 is applicable to this acquisition. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and no other solicitation will be issued. The incorporated providions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 2005-27. Offerors responding to this solicitation may submit their offer in accordance with their standard commercial prcactices (e.g.on company letterhead, formal quotes form, etc.). Offers must contain the following information: 1) Complete mailing and remittance address; 2) discounts for prompt payment, if applicable; 3) Taxpayer ID number; 4) Cage Code; 5) Dun & Bradstreet Number.
