Description
On January 7, 2009, The Rock Island Contracting Center (RICC) and the Project Manager, Combat Ammunition Systems will be hosting an Industry Day at Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL, to provide information on our planned acquisition of artillery and mortar components over the next ten years. The draft Request For Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-08-R-0088 is available at the following internet address: http://www.aschq.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/ArtilleryMortar/Artillery.aspx. The Industry Day will be held in Building 60, Rock Island Officers Club, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299, on January 7, 2009. Please note that this effort is set-aside for small business participation. Attendance of all interested small businesses is strongly encouraged. Only two US representatives from each firm will be permitted to attend Industry Day. Firms interested in sending representatives to attend Industry Day must register by sending their completed registration form to Mr. Chris Eischen at Christopher.eischen@us.army.mil. To access the registration form, go to the following internet address: http://www.aschq.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/ArtilleryMortar/Artillery.aspx Although this is an unclassified session, all names of representatives will be submitted to security prior to Industry Day. Visitor Registration: All visitors will be required to submit the visitor registration form provided below, to Christopher.eischen@us.army.mil by close of business December 31, 2008. It is requested that all participants review the draft RFP prior to Industry Day, and submit any specific questions and/or comments regarding the draft RFP via email to the point of contact mentioned above. There will be time allowed on Industry Day for any additional questions and/or comments that may arise.
