Description

Commercial Items, Densified polyester fiber mattress cores, various sizes, for use in assembling tamper resistant, seamless bedding mattresses for use in the Federal Bureau of Prisons and other federal government agencies. A 2 year contract with 1 Option is anticipated (Requirements type Firm Fixed Price with an EPA clause). This is an UNRESTRICTED acquisition. Mattresses will be assembled at FPI's Atlanta mattress facility. Delivery terms are FOB Destination. Please see the Solicitation documents for complete details and requirements. A bid sample must be provided for evaluation. The Solicitation will be posted on this FedBizOpps website on or about 12/16/2009. Offer due date is 01/09/2009 2 pm ET. NOTE: TRADE AGREEMENTS FAR 52.225-5 CLAUSE IS APPLICABLE. ONLY DOMESTIC USA MADE FIBER CORES OR THOSE MADE IN A "DESIGNATED COUNTRY" AS LISTED BY NAME IN THE TRADE AGREEMENTS CLAUSE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR AWARD OF THIS CONTRACT.
