- Description
- 700th Contracting Squadron, Rhine Ordnance Barracks, Germany intends to negotiate a commercial Firm Fixed Price Sole Source contract to SirsiDynix, UK to provide software licensing and support of the Integrated Library System (ILS) library systems at 11 locations throughout US Air Forces Europe. The contract performance period will be for one (1) base year and four (4) one (1) year options periods. This acquisittion will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.5 Test Program. The justification for the sole source is this requirement is a follow on requirement to a previous contract awarded to the same company. SirsiDynix UK is the sole owner of the software library services. SirsiDynix, by virtue of their commercial licensing agreement to access their database is the only company authorized to maintain, and install enhancements to their system. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the agency to the 700th Contracting Squadron's points of contact listed above no later than 09 Jan 2009 at 2 PM CET.
