- This posting corrects the date within the body of the announcement to reflectthe date of 18 December 2008. In the previous two (2) posting, the date of the PMW 740 Industry Day was incorrectly stated as occurring on 18 December 2009 rather than 18 December 2008. The PMW 740 Industry Day will be held THURSDAY, 18 DECEMBER 2008. The original PMW 740 Industry Day UPDATE notice posted 12/5/2008 was deactivated on 12/12/2008. The purpose of this Special Notice is to re-post the same information previously provided. NO CHANGES HAVE BEEN MADE. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), on behalf of the Program Executive Office (PEO) Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) International C4I Integration Program Office (PMW 740), is holding a PMW 740 Industry Day to provide Industry insight to upcoming potential requirements. This brief will include an update of the International C4I Integration vision and information on potential competitive acquisitions that may be solicited in support of PMW 740 in FY09. This will include, but not be limited to, PMW 740 Program Management and Engineering Services requirements and potential future Po Sheng (FMS Taiwan) requirements. This brief will be held in San Diego, CA, on Thursday, 18 December 2008, at the MITRE Corporation facility located at 2280 Historic Decatur Rd, San Diego, CA 92106. Please see attached map for driving directions. The brief will be held from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. (PDT). Check-in will be from 7:45 a.m. 8:15 a.m. The brief will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m. Mr. James Churchill, PMW 740 Program Manager, will be the primary presenter. Video and audio teleconference connections are not available. Please submit advance questions prior to COB 11 December 2008 to Ms. Carla Brown at carla.brown@navy.mil and Ms. Kelly Smith at kelly.m.smith@navy.mil. There will also be an opportunity for contractors to ask additional questions and provide comments in an open forum during the brief and these questions/comments will be addressed, if possible. THERE WILL BE NO ONE-ON-ONE SESSIONS FOLLOWING THE GOVERNMENT PRESENTATION. No cameras, tape recorders, or other reproduction devices are allowed during this meeting. All questions and answers will be posted on the SPAWAR E-Commerce Central website (http://e-commerce.spawar.navy.mil) following the Industry Day brief. (a) Due to possible space limitations, attendance is limited to two (2) representatives from each contractor entity. Contractors with separate divisions may send two (2) representatives per division. All participants must RSVP to Ms. Carla Brown at carla.brown@navy.mil and Mr. Spencer Butherus at spencer.butherus@navy.mil by COB 12 December 2008. The response must include the following information: (a) Full name of representative(s) planning to attend (must be U.S. citizen); (b) Company Name and CAGE code (and company division, if applicable) of each representative; (c) Representative(s) official title/affiliation; (d) Representative(s) email address; and (e) Representative(s) direct phone number. All participants will be required to check in prior to the Industry Day brief. Attendees will be required to show picture identification at check-in. If any changes need to be made to individual participants, provide updates prior to registration data/time indicated above. For those who are unable to attend, information and instructions to access the briefing material will be available at a later date.
