Jackson, Contract Specialist, Phone 601-.368-3943, debra.jackson4@va.gov DESCRIPTION: The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) has a recurring requirement for the transport of lab specimens from the Columbus CBOC to the G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, MS. It is VA's intentions to solicit proposals and award a single contract on a competitive basis to preferred provider within the VA Medical Center's (VAMC) jurisdiction. Contract period is April 1, 2009 to September 30, 2009, with four (4) options years extending contract annually until September 30, 2013, if exercised by the government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement and must submit information about their capabilities no later than 2:00PM Central January 9, 2009. All information shall be furnished at no cost or obligation to the Government. Telephone inquires will not be honored.
