- MODIFICATION TO ORIGINAL POSTING: RFP CC-09-HQ-R-0016, originally scheduled for release on or about 12/8/08, will be released in January 2009. The anticipated date for posting of the documents to the FBO site is on or about 1/23/09. Proposals will be due 30 days after the solicitation is released. END OF MODIFICATION. The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency has a requirement for Interior Architecture, Project Management, Interior Design and Construction services consisting of Preliminary Assessment and Project Initiation; Program; Test Fits; Schematic Design; Design Development; Construction Documentation; Furniture and Signage; Construction Administration; Move Coordination; Sustainable Design, Facility Administration Services; and additional General Consulting Services in areas that impact the work environment. The OCC is headquartered in Washington, DC (approx. 500,000 sq. ft.), and has one Data Center in Landover, MD (approx. 30,000 sq. ft.), one Large Bank office in Charlotte, NC (approx. 25,000 sq. ft.), one Ombudsman office in Houston, TX (approx. 30,000 sq. ft.), four District office in Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and New York (approx 35,000 sq. ft. each), and 70 Field/Satellite office throughout the United States, (approx. 5,000 – 10,000 sq. ft. each). See http://www.occ.treas.gov for more information. Services may be required for any OCC office and amenity space. Each office space is a leased facility and the OCC is continuously involved in the relocation and renovation of its facilities due to regulatory, real estate, and staffing requirements. The efforts to relocate or renovate the facilities for OCC include, but are not limited to, project management, programming, test fits, space plans, design development, furniture and signage specification, construction documentation, bidding, construction administration, and move coordination. Sustainable design solution, documentation and LEED certification may be required for selected projects. Services have been provided by Group Goetz Architects, Washington, DC, since 2002. The acquisition strategy entails the award of multiple IDIQ contracts, under which task orders will be competed. The requirement includes a 12-month base year and four additional one-year option periods. The Contracting Officer has made a determination that FAR Subpart 36.6, Architect-Engineer Services, is not applicable. The acquisition will be conducted in accordance with FAR Part 15. The following minimum qualifications are applicable to this requirement: Located in Wash, DC metro area or has a local office established at least 3 years; Experienced in all phases of office design and construction and project management; Experienced in interior architecture and sustainable design; Able to stamp and seal documents in all 50 states; and Experienced in the design, documentation and certification of LEED NC and CI facilities.
