- Military Sealift Command recently installed an upgrade to the Load Commutated Inverter (LCI) and Control system for the Power Take-Off Generators (PTO) on one (1) of its T-AO 187 Class ships (USNS KAISER). MSC is seeking a single or multiple sources to provide a set of critical spare parts for the USNS KAISER. The critical spare parts include the following: One (1) RC Technik Top Fan; Twelve (12) Infineon Thyristors; Five (5) ELU Fuses; One (1) DLK Fan DC Reactor; Three (3) Infineon Thyristors; One (1) Rittal Door Filter Fan; Three (3) Infineon IGBT; Three (3) Infineon Diodes; and One (1) SAM Electronics Control Board. These parts shall be delivered to the following address: MSC BATS 9284 BALBOA Avenue San Diego, CA 92123 These parts shall be delivered in accordance with the schedule. The procurement will be limited to offerors who can provide the brand name products described above. The solicitation resulting from this notice will be available on or about 12 DECEMBER 2008. Once the solicitation has been posted, it will be available at www.msc.navy.mil. Click on Contracts (upper right hand corner), click on Request for Proposal, search for solicitation number N00033-09-T-9011 and follow the download instructions. The Request for Quotations has been issued on Military Sealift Command's website.
