Description: Assembly consists of 15 nozzle segments which direct high velocity gases onto the turbine blades and 15 outer shroud segments to control air leakage to outer flow path and 15 inner seal segments to control air leakage at inner flow path and a nozzle support which supports the nozzle segments. Dimensions: 26.5000 inches and an inside diameter of approximately 19.244 inches and approximately 1.500 inches thick. 11. Material: 60% Rene 80 and approximately 10% AMS 5537 and approximately 10% Rene 41 and approximately 20% AMS 5706. 12. Qualified Sources: General Electric Company This is a sole source requirement and not a SB set side. L/I 0001: QTY Range Min 2- Max 9 each/BEQ 6 ea Required Delivery: On or before 31 DEC 2010 Destination: USAF 13. Mandatory Language: Written procedures will be used for this solicitation. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Justification: supplies (or Services) required are available from only or a limited number of responsible sources(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The proposed contract action is for supplies and services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one, or a limited number of sources under the authority of FAR 6.302. The solicitation will identify the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualifications requirements as cited in each individual solicitation. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
