Description
The U.S. Army is seeking recommended architectures for Internet Protocol (IP) networks suitable for NIPRNet and SIPRNet on U.S. Army installations. The existing network architecture was developed about ten years ago, and it does not take advantage of recent technology changes and improvements. Any proposed new architectures must be for campus area networks that will transport voice, video, and data. They need to support Quality of Service and Class of Service mechanisms. They must be easily manageable, and they must comply with Federal, DoD, U.S. Army, and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) security policies and regulations. Responses are due January 30, 2009. Please see the attached document for further information.
