- Description
- The Bureau of Reclamation, Pacific Northwest Region, has a requirement to furnish and install a one-story, modular building consisting of pre-manufactured modules with a gross square footage of approximately 6,000 sq. feet. The principal components of the work to be performed include designing, manufacturing, delivering, and connecting modules on site in Hermiston, Oregon, on foundation and on grade. The building shall be a modular building manufactured offsite in a plant. The basic structural system shall be configured to resist the design loads and forces required by the specifications. Site work for the project includes clearing and grubbing, removal of water from excavation, site grading, pipe trench earthwork, earthwork for structures, disposal of excavated materials, constructing gravel roads and parking lots, furnishing and installing chain link fencing, furnishing and placing concrete for accessible parking area, furnishing and placing concrete for sidewalks, ramps, curbs, and gutters, furnishing and placing handrailing for ramps, walkways, and landings, and connecting the building to existing utilities. This requirement will be issued as a negotiated request for proposals, and specific evaluation factors for the project will be described in the solicitation. This requirement is not set-aside and is issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 and the size standard is $33.5 million in gross annual receipts averaged over the previous three 1-year accounting periods. The estimated price range of the work is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. An electronic copy of the solicitation, including drawings, will be available APPROXIMATELY January 15, 2009, at www.fedbizopps.gov.
