- FedBiZOpps - PRESOLICITATION NOTICE This competitive action is being issued by AQD Acquisition Services under the authority of the U. S. Department of Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the United States Coast Guard. Who has a requirement for services support of scheduled annual preventive maintenance, spare parts support including the warehousing of level 3 spares, and post-deployment inspection, repair, and refurbishment for the Coast Guard owned environmental emergency response equipment at various prepositioned equipment sites. This requirement is being procured using full & open competition in accordance with FAR part 15. The period of performance will be 12 months from the date of award for the base year, with 4 - 1 year options. The resultant award is expected to be a Time & Materials type contract. The NAICS code for this requirement will be 561210. HOW TO RESPOND: Offerors need not do anything at this time. This posting is a pre-solicitation notice in accordance with FAR part 15. The Government anticipates releasing the competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) on January 6, 2009, which will provide further instructions on how to respond to this solicitation. No further notice will be posted in FedBizOpps. The RFP, specifications, RFP amendments, and all questions and answers related to this procurement will be made available via the Internet at http://www.aqd.nbc.gov/solicitations under RFP number 1406-04-09-RP-21175. Potential Offerors are responsible for accessing the web site. No written solicitation document is available, telephone requests shall not be honored, and no bidders list shall be maintained. Potential Offerors are requested to direct all questions via e-mail to ryan.pregot@aqd.nbc.gov. Ensure the RFP number and project title is referenced in the subject line on all correspondence.
