Description
This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in Subpart 12.6, in conjunction with FAR 13.5, as applicable, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested & a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on RML-RFQ-9003. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-28 dated 12/12/08. This acquisition will be processed under FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code for this procurement is 561990 and the size standard is $7.0. The Rocky Mountain Laboratories (RML) Office of the Associate Director (OAD) has a requirement for services to maintain existing Culligan water systems located on the RML Campus. Services to include a 24(twenty-four) hour on call requirement with a 2(two) hour response time. Services are to be provided by an authorized and certified Culligan Dealer. The period of performance for this contract will consist of 1(one) twelve month base period and 4 (four) twelve month option years. SCHEDULE: BASE YEAR PLUS 4(FOUR) OPTION YEARS: Quantities listed are estimated per year and must be quoted separately per base and each option year thereafter. Estimated quantities are based on current requirements and may be updated to meet the needs of the government. (1) 14 x 65 Carbon Tanks, Estimated Quantity 4 each (2) Ultraviolet light replacements, Estimated Quantity 16 each (3) 2501 Filters, Estimated Quantity 18 each (4) 10 x 47 Carbon Exchanges, Estimated Quantity 4 each (5) 14" DI Exchanges, Estimated Quantity 18 each (6) 20" 5 Micron Filters, Estimated Quantity 6 each (7) Flotrex.2 - 20 " Filters, Estimated Quantity 2 each (8) Memtrex.01 Filters (2 canisters with 3 each filters), Estimated Quantity 6 each (9).1 Absolute 10" Vent Filter, Estimated Quantity 4 each (10) 10 x 54 Carbon Tank, Estimated Quantity 1 each (11) 10" 5 Micron Filter, Estimated Quantity 8 each (12) Aqua Solutions Pre-filter, Estimated Quantity 16 each (13) Aqua Solutions.1 Absolute filter, Estimated Quantity 8 each (14) Aqua Solutions Sanitation Kit, Estimated Quantity 8 each (15) Aqua Solutions DI Cartridges, Estimated Quantity 4 each (16) Aqua Solutions DI Regenerations, Estimated Quantity 16 each (17) 50 pound extra coarse softener salt, Estimated Quantity 2,500 each (18) Commercial Services Calls, Estimated Quantity 18 each (19) 4 x 40 RO Modules (Base Year only), Estimated Quantity 10 each. The following FAR provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: (B)(1) By submission of an offer, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the CCR database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract, basic agreement, basic ordering agreement, or blanket purchasing agreement resulting from this solicitation; 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors Commercial; FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items; FAR 52-212.5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders Commercial Items. FAR 52.237-3 Continuity of Services. FAR 52.217-5 Evaluation of Options. FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. 52.217-9 Option to Extend the Term of the Contract. 52.204-9 Personal Identity Verification of Contractor Personnel. Award will be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the above stated salient characteristics, including delivery, price, inclusive of all options, past performance, and the best value to the government.
