Description
U.S. General Services Administration Federal Acquisition Service 450 Golden Gate Avenue, 4th Floor San Francisco, California 94102 Request for Quote (RFQ) This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 9Q9FLMGT090DL0001. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2000-07. The General Services Administration, FAS, Acquisition Operations intends to award a contract for the following items: Contractor shall provide repair service to include Management, labor, materials, equipment, repair site, and all incidentals to perform all listed services to full functional trailers. The objective of this requirement is to achieve full operational refrigerator trailers. Contractor shall include one (1) year maintenance to cover parts and labor. Contractor shall have the ability to perform all services outlined herein, which include licenses and trade credentials. Contractor shall submit list of previous jobs that similar to this requirement, to include government and Commercial references if available. This requirement is subject to the Service Contract Act and the prevailing wages determination is attached. Contractor must be register with CCR at www.ccr.gov and orca.bpn.gov. Please list your TAX ID number and DUNS number. Award will be made to the contractor offering the best value to the government. Best value will be determined based on past experience, license, performance scheduling, warranty terms, and cost. Only timely offers will be considered. Offers for other products must contain complete product information and prices. Contractor shall submit their price quote package by the due date listed herein. Irwin CA. 92310 (760)386-4155 AVAILABILITY: Some of these trailers are currently being used for military missions, therefore, upon award of this contract the successful contractor must contact the above identified Point of Contact (POC – Mary Lou Anderson) to coordinate the removal and repair timeframe for each trailer. Site Visit: Interested parties may visit the site of the trailers at their own discretion, although it is recommended the contractor inspect all trailers. Failure to inspect trailers will not be cause for contract modification or cost adjustment. REFRIGERATION UNIT: Although the trailers are currently equipped with various Manufacturer (MFR) Refrigeration Units, it is required that the replacement units all be of the same MFR, Model, and Type and are best suited for the trailers intended use (food items) and have a high rating within industry as it applies to long life expectancy, dependability, and full warranty that includes replacement should the unit be determined defective. REPLACEMENT / PARTS: Any parts, components, units or subunits that are to be replaced must be new OEM or equivalent. Under no circumstances are used, remanufactured, or after-market parts, components, units or subunits authorized to be used in these repairs. ACCEPTANCE: When all work has been completed on the individual trailer Contract Line Item Number (CLIN), the contractor is required to notify the GSA Representative and coordinate an inspection date/time for the specific completed trailer. The GSA Representative will perform a thorough inspection to ensure all work has been performed and meets acceptable industry standards as it applies to quality and workmanship. After to completion of inspection and acceptance, trailers must be return back to their original location. Performance Period: Performance period shall commence after receipt order and completed in 30 days Estimated completion Schedule: Contractor shall provide an estimated completion date for all trailers. _________________ Maintenance and Warranty: Contractor shall provide warranty on parts and labor.
