- THIS IS A COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for Commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued The Naval Air Warfare System, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCAD LKE) intends to procure a one (1) each (EA) high power Microwave Traveling Wave Tube (TWT) Amplifier capable of frequencies in the range of 9.295 GHz to 9.5 GHz and power in the range of 200 watts minimum in the pulse mode operation. Additional technical requirements are contained in Attachement 1 - Calibration Standard Specification and Attachment 2 - Statement of Work. All items shall be preserved, packaged, packed, and marked in accordance with best commercial practices. Delivery shall be either within 12 weeks after contract award, or by 11 March 2008, whichever occurs first and will be mutually decided upon contract award. Shipping is FOB Destination, and the shipping address is: Commanding Officer, NSWC Corona Div, Corona Division, NSWC, 2300 Fifth Street, Norco, CA. 92860-1915 Attn: Robert Johnson Code MS11. The resulting contract will be firm fixed price (FFP).
