- This requirement is for the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS). Ames, IA. APHIS/VS/NVSL requires Occupational Health blood and urine tests. Samples will be obtained for the most part on site, into sterile urine collection cups and transported back to the contracting lab in coolers. Some blood and urine samples may be obtained on site at the contracting lab. A listing of the required urinalysis, CBC, chemistry panels and serology is provided. APHIS will award a firm fixed price indefinite delivery indefinite quantity commercial supplies contract for one (1) base year and four (4) option years. Simplified procedures will be used as well as commercial item acquisition regulations per FAR12. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT IS FOR SOURCES SOUGHT ONLY WITH INTENT TO SOLICIT AT A LATER TIME.
