- Contractor shall provide storage, delivery, set-up, pick-up and repair/cleaning of government-owned durable medical equipment for the VA Black Hills Healthcare System with facilities located at Hot Springs and Ft. Meade, South Dakota. Contractor shall maintain a place of business and storage facility within the areas of Fort Meade/Rapid City and Hot Springs, SD due to requirements of patient requpment repairs, frequent VA inspections and pick-ups at either VA Medical Center. Contractor shall provide a storage area that is not less than 750 square feet and no more than 1000 square feet. Contractor agrees to use and comply with all Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO) standards for suppliers of durabel medical equipment. Applicable NAICS code is 621999. Base bid period will be from March 1, 2009 through February 28, 2010. Contract will include two option years. The solicitation package will be available Thursday, December 11, 2008. Proposals are due back by 4:00 p.m. mst Monday, January 12, 2009. All requests for solicitaiton packages must be in writing to Jodi Provorse at jodi.provorse@va.gov or 500 N. 5th St., Hot Springs, SD 57747.
