- Description
- The Naval Oceanographic Contracting Office (NAVO) intends to award a sole source contract to Triton Imaging, 125 Westridge Drive, Watsonville, CA 95076. The contract will be issued in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 as a firm fixed price indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type purchase order with a twelve month base period and four, one-year options for approximately $419,282.00 (includes base period and options, if exercised). The requirement is for Qty (10) ISIS Software Maintenance and Upgrades and a maximum of Qty (2) ISIS Office Software to the original software manufacturer who maintains proprietary rights over this software package. This software application is used for side scan imagery processing. The original software manufacturer is only source available for the software maintenance and upgrades. IAW FAR Part 5.203(a) the anticipated award date is January 9, 2009. The Government plans to award a one year contract with four, one-year options for the same requirement. The contractor is responsible for shipping materials to Stennis Space Center, MS. NOTE 22: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
