To be deemed technically acceptable, offerors must meet all minimum specifications as listed below: a. The amplifier shall be a portable device configured in a benchtop single chassis design with integrated front panel indicators, display readout for system status information, user variable gain controls, and power switch. Front and rear panel “CAUTION” labels identifying the amplifier’s input and output limitations. b. The amplifier shall be capable of auto-sensing and operate from single phase source power from 103.5 to 126.5 Vac and 50 – 60 Hz. c. Power cord shall be removable to facilitate transportability and be a minimum of 6 feet (1.8 meters) in length. d. The amplifier shall be capable of amplifying X-Band signals in the frequency range of 9.295 GHz to 9.500 GHz. e. Supply an output power of 200 Watts minimum in pulse mode operation. f. Provide continuance gain adjustment range of 30 dBm and supply 45dBm of gain at maximum setting. g. Pulse Capabilities: Width: 0.05 to 30 µsec Rate: DC to 100 KHz max Duty Cycle: 5% RF Rise and Fall: 30 ns max Delay: Pulse Width Distortion: h. Output terminal be a type-N female connection at 50 ohm impedance. i. Fundamental signal be immune to spurious harmonics to 30 dBc j. Unit must be protected against reflected VSWR power. (3.5:1) k. Fuses and circuit breakers shall be in place to provide protection in the event of an overcurrent condition. Fuse shall be in place on the line side of the input power line and be easily accessible for replacement. l. Amplifier be equipped with Interlock Safety Device (key) for RF energy disable, i.e. be able to set RF to OPERATE and STANDBY modes. m. UL Electrical Safety n. Amplifier shall be accompanied by the original manufacturers User’s Manual and other technical documentation necessary to provide complete lifecycle support (i.e. schematics). o. The amplifier shall be built for laboratory use with a chassis constructed of durable material, with protected corners, having a footprint of approximately 3.0 sq. ft. max and having service access panels for maintenance. p. Total weight of the device shall not exceed 75.0 lbs.; 50.0 lbs and above invokes a two-man lift requirement. q. Comply with MIL-PRF-28800F testing standards under the appropriate equipment classification. r. IEC Compliance EMI/EMC s.
