- This pre-solicitation notice is to inform that the VA Medical Center, Bath, New York will be posting a solicitation on or about 1/9/09 to renovate building 10 for handicap accessibility at this facility. This work includes the demolition of some existing walls, doors, and openings within the existing building and at the porch area, demolition of some existing sidewalks adjacent to the building, installation of a new concrete ADA accessible ramp, some new sidewalks and a new stair adjacent to the building, installation of a new ADA compliant bathroom, and enlargement of some existing doorways to accommodate ADA requirements. This work also will include a new power operated door at the main entrance of the building.
