Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information in this notice. This announcement consitutes the only solicitation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). This acquisition is unrestricted. Responses are due on or before January 9, 2009. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990. Contractors must register at the fedbizopps.gov website in order to receive any possible amendments. It is the responsibility of all interested contractors to acknowledge all amendments to the combined synopsis/solicitation. All interested bidders must have a DUNS number. To receive a DUNS number please contact Dun & Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505. The National Park Service, National Mall and Memorial Parks, has a requirement for delivery, setup, and removal of all items contained in specifications herein. Therefore, any items not specifically noted, but necessary for performance in accordance with accepted practices and industry standards, shall be furnished under this contract. The following Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clauses and provisions are applicable to this announcement and are available at www.arnet.gov. 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical Items; 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items; 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items; 52.216-18, Ordering; 52.216-22, Indefinite Quantity; 52.217-07, Option for Increased Quantity-Separately. Quotation submission requirements follow: All quotes shall be submitted as an original or email for receipt no later than 2:00 p.m., CT, January 9, 2009. A completed copy of the FAR provision 52.213-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commerical Items must be included and clearly marked with the Request for Quotation Number. Offerorors are hereby notified that if your proposal is not received by the date and time and the location specified in this announcement that it will be considered late. All offers should be sent to the National Park Service, Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park, Attn: Marsha Wagner, (email: marsha_wagner@nps.gov), Contract Specialist; Request for Quotation Number Q7350090012, 100 Ladybird Lane, P.O. Box 329, Johnson City, Texas 78636. Proposals by fax will be accepted, but must be confirmed by calling 830-868-7128 ext. 223. Statement of Work Contractor shall provide labor, equipment and material necessary to provide for delivery, setup and removal of all items listed below. All items must be setup by Friday, January 16, 2009 (at the latest) and removed by Thursday, January 22, 2009. 1. 30 x 30 white tents including canvas sides, floor, internal ights (water barrels no staking) 16 each $__________$__________ 2. 15 x 15 white tents including canvas side, floor, internal lights (water barrels no staking) 16 each $__________ $__________ 3. Heating System ( 1 per tent) 32 each $___________ $__________ 4. Light Tower (may be combined to power items below) 16 each $_________ $___________ 5. Generator sufficient to power lights, heating system, small refrigerator, and battery chargers (1 per 2 tents) 16 each $__________ $___________ 6. Folding Tables - approximately 8 ft. x 3 ft. (4 per tent) 96 each $__________ $__________ 7. Folding metal chairs (15 per tent) 350 each $_________ $_________ 8. Storage Containers - approximately 8 ft. x 20 ft. or similar (1 per tent) 16 each $__________ $__________ 9. Port a John - Handicap accessible, lockable 16 each $__________ $__________ (daily service with supplies may be required) 10. TOTAL BID $____________ Quote to include water provided by vendor to fill barrells and quote for water to be provided to fill barrells by NPS at time of tent set up. Location and Dates: The event is located in Washington, DC on the National Mall. Installation to begin on Friday, January 16 (at the latest) and Removal to begin on Thursday, January 22, 2009. The award will be based on the TOTAL BID QUOTE as final quantities have not yet been determined. Award will be made based on the unit prices provided. Quantities are esimated at this time. Payment will be made for all items rented and accepted.
