- The FAA is seeking A GENERAL CONTRACTOR to perform the following scope of work. Work consists of but is not limited to the following:Existing Kitchen Equipment Units to be Replaced:1. Convection Oven: Hobart Convection Oven. Single with glass doors. 60 minute timer, solid state controls, 500 deg F, two speed hp motor, porcelain interior, simultaneous doors with glass, stainless steel front sides and top. Measurers 36" wide x 36" deep x 60" high. Utilities; 44,000 BTU natural gas and 115 V electrical for primary air blower. (One new unit required.)2. Steamer: Vulcan Model No. VSX24G overall 24" wide x 33" deep x 60 " high. Convection steamer mounted on 28" high base cabinet with stainless steel front full height doors, slip-off stainless steel side and aluminized steel rear panel with welded 6" adjustable stainless steel legs rear with flange foot and front with bullet. Stainless steel frame, exterior front, sides and rear. Two stainless steel cooking compartments with coved interior corners. 200,000 BTU/hr high efficiency gas heated steam boiler. High pressure limit switch (15 psi), low water cut-off, automatic water fill, automatic generator blowdown, 15 psi pressure relief valve and 15 psi kettle connection. (One new unit required.)3. Griddle: Star Manufacturing 36 inch, manual control, natural gas griddle. Ultra-smooth, " thick polished steel plate. Custom designed 20,000 BTU aluminized U-shaped steel burner. Heavy duty all welded body construction with stainless steel front, bull nose and 4 " tapered high splash guard. Spatula wide 3 " front grease trough and grease chute for easy cleaning. Large 1 " quart stainless steel grease drawer. Heavy duty 4" adjustable legs. Measures 36" wide x 27 "" deep x 15 " high. (One new unit required.)4. Toaster: Savory Equipment Company "Mini" Conveyor Toaster. Stainless steel construction. Stainless steel bearings for conveyor system. Unbreakable sheathed metal type heating elements. Requires 120V, 15 A electric service. Measures 14" wide x 14"" deep x 18 " high. (One new unit required.)5. Refrigerated Sandwich Preparation Counter: Beverage-Air 48" wide refrigerated sandwich preparation counter with 10" wide cutting board. Balanced refrigeration system for storage of fresh produce and other perishables. Stainless steel cabinet exterior and anodized aluminum interior. Measures 48" wide x 29" deep x 36" high. Legs have casters with brakes. (One new unit required.)6. Electric Can Opener: Edlund Model 203 Two Speed Electric Can Opener. Heavy duty commercial electric can opener. Two speed 115 Volt. Stainless steel construction. (One new unit required.)7. 2 HP Disposer: Salvajor II Model 200 2 HP Disposer. Disposer has a water-cooled, totally enclosed electric motor protected by an air seal. Rotor constructed of wear resistant hardened carbidic material. Unit housed in paint free polished casting. (One new unit required.)8. 1 HP Disposer: Salvajor II Model 100 1 HP Disposer. Disposer has a water-cooled, totally enclosed electric motor protected by an air seal. Rotor constructed of wear resistant hardened carbidic material. Unit housed in paint free polished casting. (One new unit required.) (Note: Original disposer has already been removed from this location.)9. Hand Sink: Remove and dispose of existing stainless steel double tub, existing faucet and existing disposer unit beneath tub. Install new stainless steel hand sink, stainless steel backsplach, splash mounted faucet and PVC drain lines. Hand sink shall be Advance Tabco model 7-PS-68 (or approved equal). Hand sink shall shall be constructed of 20 gauge type 304 series stainless steel with all TIG welded construction. Bowl shall measure a minimum of 10" x 14" x 5". The sink shall be equipped an 8 inch high stainless steel backsplash and a splash mounted, wrist handled, goose neck faucet. Intall all new drain lines consisting of PVC pipe. (One new unit required.) Existing Kitchen Equipment Units to be Repaired: 1. Serving Line Countertop Chillers: Inspect and repair existing refrigeration units for 2 Duke Manufacturing Company serving line countertop cold tubs. One of the refrigeration units is rated at hp. The other refrigeration unit is rated at hp. Repair or replace any or all components (controls, compressors, coils, lines, valves etc.) of the refrigeration units as required to restore the full original performance characteristics of the 2 countertop cold tubs. (Two units require repairs.)2. Countertop Warmer: Inspect and repair existing natural gas heating unit for one Duke Manufacturing Company countertop warmer. Repair or replace any or all components (controls, burners etc.) of the natural gas heating unit as required to restore the full original performance characteristics of the countertop warmer. (One unit requires repair.)3. Dishwashing Sink Drain Plumbing: Remove and dispose of existing drain line plumbing from the existing brass pipe from the sink drain pan to the wall behind the sink. Snake out and thoroughly clean the existing drain line from the wall to the main line beneath the kitchen floor at the basement ceiling. Verify the the drain line is clear. Replace the sink drain plumbing from the existing brass pipe from sink drain pan to the wall with new PVC pipe. Provide a clean-out fitting in the new PVC drain line. (One unit requires repair.)4. Floor Conduit Stub: There is an existing 3 " conduit projecting 1 " above the floor surface in the dishwashing area. Cut the coduit flush with the finish floor surface to remove the trip hazzard. (One unit requires repair.) 11D New Kitchen Equipment Units to be Installed: 1. New Ice and Water Dispenser: Provide and install a new ice and water dispenser on the serving line counter. Ice and water dispenser shall be Manitowoc Model MAN-SN12A Countertop Nugget Ice Maker and Dispenser. (or approved equal). The dipenser shall be equipped with a dispenser water filter system. (One new unit required.)2. New Reach-In Refrigerator: Provide and install a new reach-in refrigerator in the kitchen area. Refrigerator shall be Turbo Air Model TA-MSR-23NM Solid One Door Refrigerator. (or approved equal). (One new unit required.) Offer range is between $50,000 and $100,000 with a performance time of approximately 30 calendar days. Construction is anticipated for immediate start.
