Description

Contractor to supply all materials, supplies, equipment, labor, etc necessary to remove the existing towing machine controls on the U.S. Tug Cheraw and design a new system and replace with new equipment. The tug will be available to the contractor for work to be performed from 7 am to 5 pm Monday through Thursday with the exception of Federal Holidays. Other hours may be made available with the concurrence of the contracting officer. A pre-bid site visit at the tug will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at 11am. Additional site visits can be coordinated with Mr. Jeffrey Ernest, the Buffalo District Contracting officer at phone number (716) 879-4173. Direct all technical and contract questions to Mr. Ernest. The point of contact with the Tug is the Master, Mr. Tim Colburn at phone number (216) 701-5444. All work to be completed no later than 3 April 2009, based upon a contract award on or before 3 Feb 2009. WAGE DECISION 05-2415 (Rev.-5) will be incorporated into any resultant contract.
