- Description: This solicitation is amended to be solicited unrestricted. Closing date and time remain unchanged. ****************************************************************************************************************** The Government has a commodities requirement for 20 Watt Amplifiers. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 334220 with a size standard of 750 employees; the SIC code is 5810. The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed-Price type contract. The incorporated provisions and clauses are current to Fac 2005-26, Effective 12 Dec 2008. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, parts, shipping, and all other items necessary to provide the following items: Line Item 0001 A-320KT - A-320 Kit, 20 Watt Amplifier - includes a 20-watt lightweight amplifier, quick-release mounting clip, antenna, angle adjustable antenna mount and connector cable. Amplifier Weight: 22-35 ounces. Includes 36 month warranty. Full rated power and no band splits in the 30-512 MHz range and compatible with any 30-512 MHz radios (or equal) QTY 40 EA Line Item 2: Shipping and handling FOB: Destination for delivery to Hurlburt Field, FL 32544. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors—Commercial Items. It is amended to read: Offeror shall submit signed and dated offer to include technical specification and/or literature sufficient to support an “or equal” determination. It is the responsibility of each offeror to provide data supporting their proposed product(s) as an equal product to those listed in this combined synopsis/solicitation. Offeror shall submit offers to 1 SOCONS/LGCC, Attn: TSgt Thomas Kovarovic, 350 Tully St Bldg 90339, Hurlburt Field FL 32544-5810 NLT 9 Jan 09; 4:00 PM local time. Submit signed and dated quotations on company letterhead or quotation form and marked with solicitation number F2FT138177A001. Offers may be emailed to thomas.kovarovic@hurlburt.af.mil. No fax offers will be accepted. The government reserves the right to evaluate proposals and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Offers shall be evaluated in accordance with FAR 52.212-2, evaluation of Commercial Items which is incorporated into this Request for Quote, with an addendum to paragraph (a) as follows: The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: Price and technical acceptability as “or equal”. When combined, price and technical acceptability are approximately equal.
