- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.6, and supplemental information included in this notice. Fort Carson will be awarding a Firm-Fixed Price Contract with Four Option Periods. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for proposals (RFP) in accordance with FAR Parts 12 & 13. The provisions and clauses incorporated into this solicitation document are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-27 Effective on September 17, 2008. Provisions and clauses incorporated by reference have the same force and effect as if they were given in full text. The full text of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations supplement (DFARs) can be accessed on the Internet at http://farsite.hill.af.mil/. This solicitation is set-aside 100% for Small Businesses. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 562111 with a small business size standard of $12.5 Million. This solicitation will end on 20 January 2009, at 4:00 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.
