Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.This solicitation, W912J6-09-T-0001 is being issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a combined synopsis RFQ for Dining Facility Attendant Services at the Hawaii Army National Guard 298th Regimental Training Institute, Waimanalo, HI. This solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 and the small business size standard is 35.5 million dollars. All prospective offerors interested in submitting a quote/proposal must have a commercial and government entity code (www.ccr.gov) in Central Contractor Registration (CCR). In order to facilitate offerors determination of contract capabilities, the following clarification is provided for the type of service requested: 1. Dining Facility Attendant services for an Army National Guard unit(s) during Unit Training Assembly (UTA) weekends. Dining Facility Attendant (DFA) duties typically include the sanitation process of a military kitchen/dining facility. DFA duties may include dish/pot/pan washing using automatic and manual means, serving food using portion control methods, maintaining a salad bar and a drink bar, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing windows, and taking out the garbage/recyclables. UTAs are typically the first and/or the third weekends of each month from February 2009 to September 2009. Notes: UTAs may be up to and including two weekends per month in order to accommodate the different courses running on separate UTA weekends. 2. Dining Facility Attendant services for an Army National Guard unit(s) during 15-Day Warrior Leadership Course training. Dining Facility Attendant (DFA) duties typically include the sanitation process of a military kitchen/dining facility. DFA duties may include dish/pot/pan washing using automatic and manual means, serving food using portion control methods, maintaining a salad bar and a drink bar, sweeping, mopping, dusting, washing windows, and taking out the garbage/recyclables. 15-Day Warrior Leadership Courses are typically held 5 times a year during the months of March, May, June, July and August. See full Statement of Work (SOW) for viewing of the total requirements. Current DOL Wage Determinations will apply and will be attached to any contract that is let due to this solicitation.
