The date is 02 FEBRUARY 2009 at the Portland Robert Duncan Plaza, 333 SW First Avenue, Portland OR 97204, on the 10th floor. Please continue to watch this announcement for more details regarding this forum.*** ____________________________________________________________ The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Portland District intends to award a Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) for the procurement and delivery of jetty stone to a staging area near the Tillamook North Jetty near Barview, located about 1 mile north of the town of Garibaldi on the northern Oregon coast. The Contractor(s) shall produce, deliver, and lay stone to the jetty. This contract is NOT for the capping of the jetty rock. The Contractor(s) shall be able to provide a maximum of 20,400 tons of stone with weights ranging from 34 tons to 45 tons a piece. The specific stones that we are looking for have these characteristics: - The smallest stone: 167 pcf. Design Size: 36.5T. range from 25 to 48 Tons. - Toe Berm Stone: 175 pcf, design Size 34.3 Tons, Range: 24.0 to 45 Tons. - The heaviest stone: Toe Keystone - 175 pcf. Range: 34.3 to 44.6 Tons. All stone shall comply with Portland District jetty stone quality requirements. Delivery of rock to the final staging area adjacent to the north jetty must be via truck. The MATOC will be for 1 base year and four optional years per the Governments needs. The period of performance will be approximately between 30 September and 30 April of each year. The NAICS Code is 212311 with a size standard of 500 employees. The FSC Code is F008.
