- Modify the above reference solcitation to extend the response date to : January 15, 2009, all bids must be received by 3:00 pm to be considered. The USCG Engineering Logistic Center has a requirement for the following: NSN: 4320-01-131-6912, Pump 2in with motor supplied pump/motor unit shall conform to the following requirements: Part no. B5452K-CCW-8.4 in 8.40” nominal impeller diameter 5 horsepower, 3 phase, 220/440 vac, 8.3 AMP, 60 hz, fully enclosed. Marine duty motor 1800 RPM 61 Foot head, 30 GPM waste water discharge pump, vendor shall notify the Coast Guard Contract Office of any discrepancies between the above requirement and the serial number cited in this solicitation. (QTY 6 EA) The United States Coast Guard intends to negotiate with only one source, Pentair Pump, (OEM) or its authorized distributorship/dealers under the authority FAR 6.302. Interest persons may identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a Request for Competitive Proposals, however all proposals received within 3 working days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Coast Guard does not intend to pay for information solicited. This is a combined Synopsis/Solicitation for Commercial Items and is issued in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the FAR, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and pursuant to FAR Part 6.302-1and HSAR 30521. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotations shall included, proposed delivery in days, pricing for items individually packaged, marked and bar coded, and the company’s Tax Identification number and Duns Number. Quotations shall be received no later than 12/18/08. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received shall be considered by this agency. This solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are that in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) FAC-2001-26, and FAR subpart 4.12 ANNUAL REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS, the use of ORCA is mandatory as of January 1, 2005.
