Description
GSA is seeking information regarding the procurement of temporary emergency utility services. This Request for Information (RFI) will enable GSA to assess the interest, experience, capability, and general standards of the industry. Please submit responses via email to the Contracting Officer listed above by the specified due date and time. Please include RFI for Facilities Emergency Utilities in Secure Facility in the SUBJECT LINE. The Government is seeking information on the industry’s capabilities to respond to emergency repairs, operations and temporary services. 1. Please provide comments on the attached Statement of Services. 2. Based on the information please provide a narrative of any agreements, contracts, design, etc your firm feels would be required to meet the required response time as stated for each system. 3. Has your company participated in any national emergencies within the past 5 years (explain)? 4. Please provide what would be required to accelerate the response time for various outages detailed in Section 3.1.1. Are the response times realistic? Generally, what is the cost differential and what are the requirements associated with decreasing/increasing the proposed response times per each scenario. (ie instead of 12 hours, respond in 6 hours.) 5. Please provide comments on the General Requirements breakdown detailed in Section 3.1.9. Are the categories listed complete? What additional trades would you anticipate? 6. Additionally, any questions you submit must be written in a way that enables clear understanding of your company’s issues or concerns. Any exchanges of information must be consistent with procurement integrity requirements (see FAR 3.104). No offers or quotes will be accepted. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation as a result of this announcement. The Government will NOT pay for any information given in response to this call for information.
