IF POSSIBLE INCLUDE AND ESTIMATE OR APPROXIMATE FIGURE, NOT EXPECTED TO BE AND EXACT FIGURE. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS, QUOTATIONS OR BIDS FOR BRAND NAME OR EQUAL TO. NO SOLICITATION CURRENTLY EXISTS NOR DOES THE GOVERNMENT INTEND TO PAY FOR ANY INFORMATION SUBMITTED IN RESPONSE TO THIS NOTICE. THIS NOTICE DOES NOT BIND THE GOVERNMENT TO ISSUE A SOLICITATION OR A CONTRACT AS A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The Directorate of Contracting, Fort Riley, Kansas is conducting market research to determine the extent of SMALL BUSINESS sources capable of performing as prime contractor on the integration of equipment for main conference room in building 500, AT FT. RILEY, KANSAS 66442. There will be Site Visit scheduled for 21 January 2009, from 1100 hours (11:00 AM) until 1230 hours (12:30 PM), at Building 500, The Main Post Conference Room, Fort Riley, KS. Designs will be discussed and measurements can be taken at this time. Interested parties will meet at Bldg1792, 12th Street, Fort Riley, KS 66442, no later than 1030 hours (10:30AM), 21 January 2009. Additional specifications to be presented are as follows, MCR Integration for building 500 PROJECT: Integration of equipment for main conference room in building 500. SCOPE OF WORK: Supply, deliver, install and test 1- Integrated room included are as follows: Supply and install two 80 inch plasmas with mounts Supply and install 1- Ceiling projector (3500 lumens +) with mount. Supply and install 2- PTZ Cameras and mounts. Supply and install 1- AMX touchpad. Supply and install 1- smartboard symposium. Supply and install 7- shure tabletop microphones on conference table. Supply and install 6- JBL ceiling speakers and 1 amplifier. Supply and install 1- 48 inch encased rack with power sequencer, VCR, and DVD recorder. Supply and install 1- 7ft rack with power sequencer, video/audio matrix switches, AMX control Module, mixer and Polycom VTC unit (with 4 ISDN ports). Supply and install 2- surface mount plates with VGA and audio (3.5mm stereo) inputs/outputs. Supply and install 1- integrated room with programming, ancillary equipment to make the listed items above function. Supply and install all conduit and wire to include termination. Vendor must provide 2 days of equipment operation and training, complete with a users guide, and components list with all warranty information. Vendor must include in estimate 3 years onsite availability (+ option to extend) within 24 hours, and equipment replacement within 72 hours upon determination of hardware failure. A solicitation MAY or MAY NOT be issued pending evaluation. All responses must be in writing. NO telephonic responses or postal correspondence will be accepted.
