- The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for a firm, fixed price supply contract to be negotiated on a 100% small business set-aside basis for metal shipboard habitability furniture in support of SRF Yokosuka, Japan. The contractor shall provide lockers, sub bases, berths, and metal joiner doors in accordance with the shipboard furniture catalog. Online version is available: https://90machinery.navsses.navy.mil/habitability/ Copies of MIL/FED specs, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.dla.mil/online/start/. Delivery is required to be received by NOLSC for trans-shipment to Japan by 16 March 2009 with inspection and acceptance FOB Origin. This is an urgent requirement and delivery is required as early in March 2009 as possible. The acquisition will be made in accordance with FAR Parts 12, 15 and 13.5, utilizing Low Price Technically Acceptable evaluation. This procurement is set-aside for small business. The solicitation will be issued on or about 12 January 2009 with a closing date of 09 February 2009. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price supply type contract. Prospective offerors not CCR-registered should immediately begin the registration process. The solicitation will be posted to the NECO web site: www.neco.navy.mil under Business Opportunities under solicitation number N00406-09-T-0319. The Government will NOT distribute hard-copy solicitations or amendments. The Government will not mail, fax, or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments th! ereto. Subsequent amendments, if any, will be transmitted solely via the NECO web site. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the NECO web site early and periodically for any solicitation amendments. Prospective offerors should not expect notification that an amendment has been issued. The NECO web site is occasionally inaccessible due to maintenance. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted on the referenced web site.
