- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD (a) NAICS: 334515 (b) Number of employees: 500 The purchase of Analog I/O Interface Cards: Nine (9) PD2-AO-96/16HS (96 channel, 16-bit, 100 kS/s per channel, high-speed PCI analog output board) Fifty-four (54) PD-CBL-4037 (1m 37-way D-sub to 40-way IDC ribbon cable) Fifty-four (54) PD-STP-3716 (16-channel screw terminal panel w/37-pin connector) Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested delivery date is 30 days ARO or earlier. Manufacturer: United Electronic Industries Justification for Sole Source Only: Purchase of additional PD2-AO-96/16HS PCI analog output cards are required to maintain form, fit, and function interoperability with existing interface cards installed in C-5 Malfunction, Detection, and Analysis Recording System (MADARS) test benches. Usage of any other analog interface cards would require significant modifications to existing test bench software and hardware and would require the utilization of expensive engineering technical resources both in manpower and hardware to modify the existing test benches to accommodate non form, fit, and function interface cards. This translates to work stoppage for ongoing mission critical testing and OFP software maintenance for the C-5 MADARS maintenance data recorder.
