Description

THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION ONLY – The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) intends to negotiate a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) 600 Fifth Street, N.W. Washington D.C. 20001. The purpose of this procurement is to purchase Metro rail Cards for HRSA employees to travel to meetings. The period of performance for this project is a twelve-month base period with four 12-month option periods. The NAICS Code is 921190. This procurement shall be processed in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations Part 13.5. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1; the WMATA is the only vendor that provides metro fare cards in the Washington Metropolitan area for their Metro Rail System. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
