Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is WIFI2009; this solicitation is a request for quotation. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-28, effective date Dec 12, 2008; Defense DCN 20081218, effective date 18 Dec 2008; and AFAC 2008-1217 effective date 17 Dec 2008. This acquisition will be hubzone small business set-aside; the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 519130. The business size standard is 500 employees. The Federal Supply Class (FSC) is 5895. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 3663. Travis AFB intends to award a purchase order for installation and service of WiFi Internet in accordance with the attached statement of work and regualtions. This purchase order will include a base year and two option years. The base year will include equipment and service and the option years will be for service. A site visit will be conducted on 21 January 2009 at 1000. Any vendor interested in attending the site visit will need to e-mail SSgt Elizabeth Squires and MSgt Pat Filer with your name, company name, and number of people attending. All participants will be required to meet at the Travis AFB visitors center for access to the installation. Award shall be made in the aggregate, all or none. The following provisions and/or clauses apply to this acquisition. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial Items (June 2008). FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Jan 1999): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: 1: Past Performance, Installation Time, and Price. A past performance survey is attached to this solicitation. At least 3 complete past performance surveys will need to be returned to this office prior to close out date to be considered. Past performance surveys need to come from the customer used for past performance to be considered. Surveys received from the company submitting the quote will not be considered as valid. Also when past performance and installation time are combined they are equal to price.
